Rain doesn't dampen spirits for Hawaiian BBQ
The pouring rain didn't stop Haley, from enjoying the freshly grilled hamburgers and hotdogs served by Sodexho at the Hawaiian BBQ last Friday, September 28th. In spite of the weather, students wore their flip flops and dressed as if they were headed for the beach. First grader, Zoe, spent hours working on her grass skirt. It was a great time for parents to come and have lunch with their students and many parents dressed up as well..

Open House Night

Many families attend Open House

Teachers greeted their students and met families at the annual Open House Night, Thursday night. Teachers were able to share with parents classroom procedures, as well as sign-up opportunities for classroom assistance. Parents had the opportunity to see the new SMART boards in Mr. Stenlund and Mr. Kiser's rooms.
Mr. Hanson and Mrs. Herbert shared the P.E. Pick Program that supports literacy and the local Boy Scouts presented as well.
Many families attended the Scholastic Book Fair and children had the opportunity to meet Clifford, the Big Red Dog, too.
